Description
Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - First Assist (Travel)
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Surgical First Assist and Scrub Tech as needed
- Unit: First Assist - OR
- Facility Size: 330 beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Scheduling Options:
- Four 10-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
- Three 12-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
- Floating Policy: Primary role as First Assist; scrub tech role as needed
- Documentation System: Sunrise (no documentation required for this position)
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided daily on site
- Work Environment: Polite, collaborative interdisciplinary team
- Equipment: Two Da Vinci Robots, endovascular suite
- Flexible scheduling available
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: CST/ORT with First Assist focus
- Certifications:
- Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) required (not CRNFA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Licenses: New Hampshire Medical Tech License for CSFA required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (CST/ORT - First Assist)
- Skills: Assist with GYN, Urology, Spine, Orthopedic trauma, Breast, C-sections, Robotics, Vascular, and Endovascular procedures
- Advanced Skills: CSFA or CRNFA certification required
