Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Robbinsdale, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description
The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to patients and families across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults. The RN performs independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions according to standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area. Responsibilities include assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN develops and revises patient care plans, coordinates care among disciplines, delegates activities appropriately, and participates in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices. The role involves defining, implementing, and improving practice standards and the care environment to promote exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
- ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma center environment
- Experience with all patient populations
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience
Additional Requirements
- Work history documentation relevant to the specialty
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to ER nursing
- Two supervisory references with dates of employment
- Valid nursing license and certifications
- MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
- Strict compliance with submission deadlines prior to assignment start
- Clinicians must list prior work history with the health system on their resume
Work Environment & Other Details
- Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs
- Nonbillable hours: 4 hours per assignment
- Facility is a Level I Trauma center with a Level II pediatric trauma center designation
- EMR system used: Epic
