Job Description & Duties

• Work in Diagnostics Department covering multiple imaging modalities including:

  • Diagnostic X-rays
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Operating Room cases (e.g., Cystoscopy)
  • Use of C-arm and O-arm imaging equipment
• Rotate through all diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy, Orthopedics)
• Average number of scans/studies per day varies due to walk-in X-rays and OR cases
• Use of EMR/PACS systems: EPIC, Fuji Synapse PACS
• Department equipment includes Del Medical, OEC, O-arm, Siemens (R&F)

Schedule & Shifts

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Day shift with rotating weekends
• Weekend shifts are evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
• No call or standby required; department staffed 24/7
• No holiday call required
• Scrub color: Black (scrubs not provided)
• Option for 4 – 10 hour day shifts with rotating weekends

Required Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology Tech role
• Must have Operating Room (OR) experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) verification required

Additional Information

• Department has 3 X-ray rooms, 6 C-arms, and 1 O-arm
• Radiologist available in-house
• No IV start required
• No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
