Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a 24/7 staffed emergency department at a rural/small 25-bed hospital.
- Provide emergency care including diagnosis, treatment, stabilization, and transfer for a variety of medical emergencies such as trauma, burns, heart attacks, poisonings, sexual assault, and violence-related injuries.
- The emergency department includes triage rooms, treatment rooms, trauma rooms, pediatric and psychiatric rooms, a private consultation room, and a specialized decontamination area.
- Facility prioritizes care based on patient criticality.
- No schedule accommodations (e.g., block scheduling) or requests for time off after assignment submission will be approved.
- Maximum of 5 days requested time off allowed during the assignment; less is preferred.
- Travelers must have their own vehicle.
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Room (ER)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
- Prior Travel Experience: At least 3 months of previous travel experience required (non-negotiable).
- Additional Experience: Rural/small facility experience required.
- Certifications:
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be active and uploaded).
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Active American Heart Association PALS certification.
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- Other:
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) highly preferred.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of profile submission; no changes allowed after offer.

Important Notes
- No travelers who want to work alongside another permanent or travel assignment will be considered.
- No non-billable orientation overtime or holiday multipliers apply.
- Call and call-back pay does not apply for this assignment.
