Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology

Location: Brunswick, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Support needed due to staff leave and loss of full-time technologist.
Position covers two campuses: Mid Coast and Lincoln.
Role: Echo Technologist (Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Must float between two campuses

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Certifications:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Skills & Experience

Must have experience with:
- Stress ECHO
- Transesophageal Echo
- Transthoracic Echo
IV skills preferred but not required

Work Environment

Community hospital setting
Equipment used: Philips EPIQ
Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
Patient load: Ability to perform 6-7 patients per day
Team-oriented and positive attitude required

Additional Information

Number of beds: 92
Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed
