Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech - Nuclear Medicine

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel


Facility Overview

  • Level III trauma center with 198 beds
  • Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
  • Advanced imaging equipment including GE 5 ring PET/CT, GE Hawkeye SPECT/CT, and upcoming GE 830 SPECT Camera
  • Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
  • Patient population includes cardiac, bone, and gallbladder cases

Position Details

  • Specialty: Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT
  • Role: ARRT (N) Certified Nuclear Med Tech
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 40 (no weekend hours)
  • Call Requirements: Yes
  • Float Requirements: Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT

Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 2 years in Nuclear Medicine (higher value taken)
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT (N) certification required
    • Nuclear Medicine – PET recommended
    • New Mexico state license required
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • Skills:
    • IV access
    • Post-processing procedures

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

  • Unit is located on the 1st floor Radiology department
  • Patient ratios not specified
  • Attractive location with outdoor activities and proximity to Durango, CO and Albuquerque, NM
