Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

Location: West Jordan, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders. Interventions include strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and training in activities of daily living under supervision. Participate in documentation, program development, teaching, and clinical skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, patient education on home safety, adaptive equipment, and compensation techniques
• Coordination and implementation of strengthening and therapeutic exercise programs
• Manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to patient needs
• Flexibility to float to other areas or sites as needed
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, after hours, and potential overtime

Required Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Dry Needling Certification or education only if performing dry needling
• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab settings preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Scheduling & Work Hours

• Standard shifts with flexibility before/after standard hours
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM with 1 weekend shift every other week

Additional Notes

• Must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote
• Valid driver’s license required for radius travel up to 60 miles
