Job Description
Seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join the Oncology team.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform core Radiation Therapist functions including scheduling, simulation, patient set-up, and treatment.
- Operate and demonstrate knowledge of all major department equipment.
- Deliver external beam treatments accurately and timely.
- Assess and address patient needs during treatment.
- Follow Radiation Safety procedures.
- Complete patient charts accurately and on time.
- Apply knowledge of standard and advanced treatment calculations and plans.
- Design and fabricate blocks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform simulation with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Use appropriate scripting, barriers, and patient identifiers as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
- ARRT registration in radiation therapy.
- AHA BLS certification.
Experience
- Specialty: Radiation Oncology
- Required Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with ARRT registration and job responsibilities.
