Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Rotating)

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota
Employment Type: Temporary Contract

Job Description

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic nursing care across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults. Responsibilities include assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN develops and revises patient care plans, coordinates interdisciplinary care, delegates tasks appropriately, and participates in shared accountability and decision-making. The role emphasizes independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions specific to the assigned service area.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Operating Room (OR) with rotating shifts
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2+ years in specialty
  • Prior Travel Experience: Required (must have prior travel experience)
  • Trauma Experience: Level I Trauma experience required
  • Clinical Experience:
    • Orthopedics, Spine, and Urology experience required
    • Experience with all patient populations required
  • Technical Skills: Experience with XI Robots required
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic experience required

Additional Requirements

  • Work history documentation required
  • Skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to specialty
  • Two supervisory references with dates of employment
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA (if not, must be noted)
  • MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
  • Compliance deadline for documentation: 4 pm on the Wednesday before start date (no exceptions)
  • Clinicians must list prior work history with the health system or related entities on their resume
