Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and implement patient and family education, and initiate appropriate interventions. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, individualized care planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice. The RN also provides leadership and contributes to professional development within the practice setting.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in Montana
- Bachelor's degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum of 18 months of Registered Nurse experience (higher experience requirement applies)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
- 1 year circulating experience in OR
- 1 year scrub experience in OR

Additional Information
- Stroke competency training required: initial 2 hours of cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire, plus 1 hour annually
- Variable day shift positions with call; flexibility to cover all shifts is needed
- Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
