Travel RN - Med-Surg/Telemetry

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Must float to all sister units
Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Common Diagnoses/Treatments:
- Total Hip, Total Knee, Total Shoulder replacements
- Hip fracture
- Spine surgery
- Trauma surgery
- General medical/surgical overflow
Common Medications: Hydromorphone PCA, Epidurals
Equipment Used: Baxter IV pumps, SIGMA Spectrum Infusion System
EHR Systems: Omnicell, Cerner

Required Qualifications

License: RN license in Maine
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med-Surg/Telemetry
Skills:
- Telemetry monitoring
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Facility is a Level 3 Trauma center with 24/7 Emergency Care
