Description
Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Abilene, Texas
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations.
- Create communication treatment plans to help individuals better understand and be understood by others.
- Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and facility policies.
- Provide appropriate care and services to residents in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Valid Texas license or compact license for Speech and Language Pathology.
