Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - OR (Travel Position)

Location: Riverside, California
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Surgical Services
Number of ORs: 14
Shift Coverage: Mixed 7-10 hours/weekends rotating
Typical Staff (Day Shift example): 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Dress Code: Scrubs

Job Description

Specialty: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) in Orthopedics (ORT)
Focus: Open Heart CABG experience required
Preferred Skills: Other scrub experience in ortho, neuro, ortho spine
Typical Procedures: Cardiac surgical procedures including Open Heart CABG

Required Qualifications

Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years in CST/ORT specialty
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Additional Information

Weekend and on-call shifts required
Floating to other areas may be expected
