Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Wytheville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Discipline / Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Rotating weekends
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1

Facility & Unit Information

100-bed hospital
Patient Population: Adults, Geriatric, Pediatrics, Infants
Equipment: Ventilators, EKG, BiPAPs, Oxygen therapy, etc.
Electronic Health Records (EHR): MEDHOST, MEDITECH

Required Qualifications

License: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license for Virginia
Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in respiratory therapy specialty (higher value applied)
Skills/Experience:
- Adult ventilator management
- CPAP experience
- Pediatric respiratory care experience

Additional Information

No float requirements
Dress code: Scrubs (any color)
Common diagnoses treated include COPD
No call responsibilities
