Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description

• Work in the Cath Lab with Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Scrub and document cases, stock rooms
• Assist physicians with all EP procedures
• Monitor and circulate cases in EP
• Use EP recording systems

Patient Population

• Cardiology patients
• Procedures include Impella, IABP, INARI, Electrophysiology, PVC, PT, Cryo or transeptal ablations, laser lead extractions, device work

Equipment / EMR

• Toshiba, Carto, Abbott systems

Schedule & Shifts

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (day or afternoon shifts)
• Call required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Call hours: 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Orientation provided specific to unit
• Floating only within Cath Lab & EP

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• WVRT license
• Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist (CI) - ARRT verification accepted
• Acceptable certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), ARRT (VI)

Experience Requirements

• Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, Electrophysiology procedures, PVC, PT, Cryo or transeptal ablations, laser lead extractions, device work, and EP recording systems is required

Additional Information

• Must be able to work in a unit with 3 Cath Labs and an average of 15-18 cases per day
• OR scrubs provided daily
• Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years before reapplying
• Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after 1 full year of travel at this facility
• Travel teams must be submitted together
