    Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

    Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Details

    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Shift: 7:15 PM – 6:45 AM
    • Weekends: Every other weekend required
    • Call: Not required
    • Floating: As needed within scope
    • EMR System: EPIC
    • Block Scheduling: Willing to discuss during interview
    • Locals Allowed: Yes
    • First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

    Required Experience and Skills

    • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
    • Certifications required:
      • BLS (Basic Life Support)
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
      • C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
    • Floating within scope may be required

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Washington state
    • Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
    • Education verification (US equivalency documentation if education completed outside the US)
    • Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) within 18 months of hire
    • Other certifications relevant to Labor and Delivery as required

    Health and Compliance Requirements

    • Tdap vaccine or signed declination
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
    • Immunizations or positive titers for:
      • Measles (Rubeola)
      • Mumps
      • Rubella
      • Varicella
      • Hepatitis B (3 doses or declination)
    • 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or mask requirement during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

    Additional Requirements

    • Two professional references completed within 1 year of start
    • Photo for badge
    • Completion of confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest statements
