Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Unit: Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Unit Size: 20 beds
- Staffing: 54 total staff including RNs, techs, managers, PT, OT, ST, therapy techs
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 2-3 RNs, 1 tech
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 2-3 RNs, 1 tech
- Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per therapist
- Equipment Used: Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, rollators, NuStep, light gait trainers, hospital beds, bed/chair alarms, oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters, blood pressure machines
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Occupational Therapy evaluations
- Daily treatments
Schedule
- Preferred schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, day shifts
- Possible alternating weekends
- Floating to acute care or outpatient settings may be required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- OTR certification

- Dress code: Standard navy blue scrubs
