Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work on the AYA OFFER UNIT with no guaranteed interviews or scheduling accommodations.
  • Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
  • Weekends as needed, likely every other weekend (EOW).
  • Floating required to all Medical-Surgical floors and potentially rehab.
  • May care for COVID-19 patients.
  • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience.
  • Certifications required: ACLS and BLS.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • No call requirements.
  • Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Required Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license for Pennsylvania.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • EPIC system experience.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Night shifts, 3x12 hour shifts per week.
  • Weekends as needed, likely every other weekend.
  • Floating to multiple units including rehab.
  • May care for COVID patients.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Background checks including 7-year criminal background, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and Pennsylvania-specific PATCH search.
  • PA FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days.
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance required; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days.
  • Education verification of highest degree.
  • Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
  • Immunizations and health documents required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days (PPD not accepted)
    • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
    • Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
    • Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if titers negative/equivocal
    • Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season
    • COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement, not facility).
  • Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually.
  • Professional references: 2 required within 3 years.
  • Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable.
  • Photo for badge: professional, passport-style photo required.
  • Completion of WellSpan Health LMS modules and new hire orientation.

  • Candidate will be clinically screened for fit before manager interview.
  • Facility requires a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
  • Floating to multiple units may be required.
  • Weekend shifts likely every other weekend.
  • No call responsibilities.
  • Must comply with all facility-specific documents and agreements (e.g., Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement).

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with EPIC experience who are comfortable working night shifts and floating across medical-surgical and rehab units in a travel/contract role.
