Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Overview
- Level III trauma center with 198 beds
- Emergency Department with 48 beds (including flex space)
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 in Main ED, 6:1 in Fast Track
- EHR system: Cerner
- Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV
- Patient population includes ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric patients
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine
- Shift: Mids (10am-10pm, 12pm-12am)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Minimum of two weekends per schedule
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: None
- Team nursing and Pod System model
- Social Worker and Unit Educator assigned to department
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico
- Education: RN with ADN degree
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department or Emergency Medicine specialty (2 years required)
- Skills/Experience: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation
