Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: New Port Richey, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures. This is a travel/contract position in a short-term acute care facility.
Required Experience & Skills
- Specialty: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years (highest requirement)

Licensure & Compliance
- Licensure: Florida RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
- Driver’s License: Must be current and active throughout assignment
- Background Checks: Standard background checks including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
- Fingerprinting: Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start
- Education Verification: Required for all healthcare professionals
- References: 2 references from past 2 years required

Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 6 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 10 weeks of start
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Immunizations or titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella
- Drug testing: Standard 9-panel within 30 days (instant tests not accepted)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or documented declination (mask required if declined)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Respirator medical clearance if respirator use is required
Competency & Training Requirements
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (score ≥ 80%)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (100% lethal arrhythmia score required)
- Color Blind Testing (Relias) prior to start
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification if applicable
- Stroke Education CEUs (8 total credits required for certain units)
- NIH Stroke Certification and mRS (Modified Rankin Scale) certification as applicable
- BayCare Online Learning Center modules must be completed prior to start (4-8 hours)
