Job Summary

• Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

• Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
• TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, chest X-ray within one year showing no infection, and annual TB questionnaire.
• Fit Test for respiratory protection (PAPR not done onsite).
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes.

Required Background and Screening

• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks within 30 days of assignment.
• Employment verification for the past seven years.
• Education verification relevant to clinical work.
• Drug screening: 12 panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of onboarding requirements including unit-specific checklists, Cerner test-out, and other facility-specific education modules.
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Professional references: at least two required prior to first assignment.
