Travel RN ICU Job Opportunity
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: RN ICU (Cardiovascular ICU experience preferred)
- Schedule: 36 or 48-hour shifts available
- Every other weekend required
- Easter holiday coverage required
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Florida (Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Completion of required Ascension-specific competencies and certifications, including:
- Ascension Color Vision test
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.)
- NIH Certification
- Ascension EKG Exam
- Ascension Cerner Test-Out
- Health and immunization requirements:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap vaccine (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
- TB screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within 1 year, and annual TB questionnaire
- Fit Test (annual)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA within 90 days of start
- Drug Screening: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Background and verification:
- Criminal background check including SSN trace, OIG search, National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to start)
- Employment verification for past 7 years
- Education verification within 90 days prior to start
- Professional references (at least two)
- Other onboarding requirements:
- Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and valid)
- Ascension-specific onboarding education and attestations
- Ascension skills checklist (clinical specialty-specific, updated annually)
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen
- Ascension Profile (resume)

- Specialty: RN ICU
