Job Opportunity: RN - Behavioral Health (Travel)

Location: Russellville, Arkansas
Facility Type: 170-bed community hospital, Joint Commission Accredited, with specialized programs including Chest Pain Center and AHA Stroke Program Award

Position Details

• Specialty: Behavioral Health
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Some weekends required
• Call Requirements: Yes, once per month
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
• Unit Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: Fully staffed with 3 licensed nurses and 3-4 mental health techs on duty
• EHR System: Meditech
• Float Requirements: No floating

Contract Length

• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required for Arkansas
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Additional Information

• Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
• Patient care excludes open heart and craniotomy cases
• Fully staffed unit with a multidisciplinary team
• Orientation schedule available throughout the year
