Job Opportunity: RN - Behavioral Health (Travel)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Nursing
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Rotating
On Call: No
Float Requirements: Yes, may work on up to 4 different units
Patient Population: Adult psychiatric patients
Patient Ratio: 1:11
Unit Beds: 77

Required Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in North Carolina
CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing specialty (Behavioral Health)
Must be at least 21 years old
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program or hold relevant state licensure

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility
Experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
Skilled in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations

Additional Information

May be required to work flexible hours and overtime
