Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)
Location: Wyoming, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Four 9-hour shifts (07:00 - 16:30)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Work Hours:
- 36 hours for 3 shifts of 12 hours
- 48 hours for 4 shifts of 12 hours
- 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)
- On-Call: Yes, one night per week (16:30 - 07:00) and every third weekend (Friday 16:30 - Monday 07:00)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other or every third weekend based on needs
- Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
- Local Candidates: Accepted, no radius restrictions
- Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics

- Interventional Radiology
- Pre/Post Procedures
- Special Procedures
- Previous Charge Experience: Required
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Interventional Radiology)
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
- Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable)
- BLS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse license for Michigan (pending state license NOT accepted)
Additional Requirements
- Background Checks:
- 7-year background check within 6 months of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
- Education Verification: Required (transcript or diploma accepted as placeholder if pending)
- Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within last 12 months (for records only)
- Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation
- Immunizations and titers as applicable, including:
- TDAP (within 10 years)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccines)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or series)
- Varicella (positive titer or vaccines)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per facility policy (annual renewal required)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations NOT accepted)
- References: Minimum of 2 professional references required
