Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Hawaii

Location

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of ICU experience

Required Licenses and Certifications

  • Active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (can be submitted or completed online during orientation)

Shift and Schedule

  • Flexible day or night shifts, determined by staffing needs
  • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week) after orientation
  • 2 shifts of 12 hours on call per 4-week roster period
  • 1 week orientation (up to 40 hours)

Job Duties and Environment

  • Work in an 11-bed ICU unit
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
  • May float to other critical care and step-down units as needed
  • Use of Meditech electronic health record system
  • Professional dress code: scrubs

Additional Information

  • Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
