Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech
Location: Palo Alto, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must be willing to work weekends, weekdays, and some evening shifts.
- Possible shift times include 7 AM - 3 PM on weekends and variable 7 AM - 5 PM on weekdays.
- Overtime may be available.
Required Qualifications
- Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC).
- ARRT certification in mammography is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammography Tech)
- Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with CRT and mammography tech roles.

Certifications & Licenses

- Education verification required (highest level achieved).
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana due to CA law).
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask test required within 1 year of start and annually thereafter.
- TB screening: Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days of start, renewed annually.
- Immunizations required: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal flu vaccination during flu season. Medical contraindications considered only for immunizations.
- Drug testing and immunization documentation must be current and compliant.
