Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: Mountain View, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position requires floating to a secondary location in Santa Clara, CA.
• Shift: Tuesday through Saturday or Monday through Friday, 5/8s (variable shifts).
• Shift times: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a day shift on Saturday as the fifth day.
• Every other weekend required.
• Possible days off include Sunday/Monday or Friday/Sunday.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammography Tech)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in specialty.
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications required:

  • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
  • AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • RHM (Registered in Mammography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must hold a valid California state license appropriate for Mammography Tech.

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start, including alias and county searches.
• Annual updates required for EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and FACIS Level 3 screenings.
• Education verification required (highest level achieved).
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start.
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law).
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test required within 1 year of start, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions or failed tests).
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
• Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start, renewed annually.

  • HIPAA acknowledgment
  • Confidentiality agreements
  • Code of conduct and vendor training (2024 and 2025 versions)
  • TB screening questionnaire within 90 days of start, renewed annually
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
• Verification of up to 7 years of employment history required.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required, renewed annually.
• Two professional references required (clinical/allied/per diem acute care).
