Job Description

Seeking an RN Traveler with recent experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings. The role involves working primarily 2pm-10:30pm shifts, covering every other weekend and holiday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent LTC/SNF specialty experience
• Active South Dakota RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic medical records
• Charge nurse experience

Schedule & Work Details

• Shifts: 8-hour shifts primarily from 2pm to 10:30pm (both 8- and 12-hour shifts may be required)
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
• Holiday coverage: Every other holiday
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 hours
• Overtime availability: Yes, occasionally
• Orientation: 1 day location-specific orientation plus up to 3 days on the floor with staff

Facility & Patient Information

• Census: Approximately 42 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: Varies; day shift ratio ranges from 1:21 up to 1:42
• Patient population: Elderly with multiple diagnoses

Additional Notes

• Both RN and LPN may be utilized for this role
• No on-call or call-back required
• Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice incur a fee
