Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Radiation Oncology)
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist with strong simulation experience to join the Radiation Oncology team. The role involves administering ionizing radiation to treat diseases, with a focus on simulation procedures that map treatment areas using imaging techniques like CT scans. The therapist will also train current staff on simulation processes.
Required Qualifications
- Discipline: Radiation Therapist
- Specialty: Radiation Oncology
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Radiation Oncology, with strong simulation experience
- Certification: R.T. (T) certification and maintaining certification
- Skills:
- Working knowledge of radiation safety and regulations
- Ability to interpret and deliver treatments per plans and protocols
- Experience with modern radiation therapy delivery systems, imaging systems, and electronic medical records
- Experience with techniques including Breath Hold, SRS, SBRT, Superficial, and HDR
- Working knowledge of Mosaiq preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Other Requirements:
- Mandatory flu vaccination (no declinations accepted) from October 1 through April 1 of the current flu season
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Housing: Brand new furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments available nearby (optional)
- Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
