Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department (Travel)
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Unit Overview
- Unit Type: Emergency Room (ED)
- Beds:
- 48 private rooms
- 27 hallway stretchers
- 9 Fast track beds
- 5 behavioral health beds
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: Charge nurse + 11 others, multiple mid-shifts, 2 PCTs, 1 Paramedic, 1 LVN
- Night Shift: Similar staffing as day shift
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:4 in ED
- 1:5 in Behavioral Health
- 1:3 in Cardiac/Trauma
- Equipment: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
- EMR System: MEDITECH
- Floats: Must float to facility Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) as needed

Required Certifications & Licenses
- Registered Nurse (RN) License (Texas)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Nursing specialty
