Job Opportunity: RN - Surgery Pre Op (Travel)

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre Op (Surgery)
Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: No call required for Pre-Op department
Patient Population: Diverse, all ages
Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner

Level III trauma center with 198 beds
Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatrics, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Valid RN license for New Mexico
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Pre Op or surgical nursing
Skills: Competency in Pre Op nursing, ability to manage diverse patient populations
