Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

Location: Mammoth Lakes, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide 1:1 patient care with 45-minute appointments every hour.
• Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy treatment.
• Develop, reassess, and revise treatment plans every 6 weeks or sooner based on patient progress.
• Perform physical therapy techniques and modalities appropriate to patient diagnosis.
• Document patient progress reports timely to support physician follow-ups and insurance compliance.
• Work primarily in outpatient clinic settings with some inpatient care coverage on holidays and Sundays (approximately one holiday and 6-8 Sundays per year).
• Collaborate with hospital departments and medical staff to ensure best patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
