Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation Therapy)

Location: Lakeview, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Evaluate, select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, upon physician referral.
• Collaborate with family and healthcare team members regarding patient abilities and goals.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited college or university.
• Licensure: Current or eligible for Occupational Therapist license from the Oregon State Board of Health.
• Certifications: Current CPR certification required.
• Driver’s License: Valid Oregon driver’s license required.
• Experience:

  • Must have current knowledge of occupational therapy related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts.
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills essential.
