Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract

Location: Athens, Texas
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)

Certifications Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Experience with Epic charting system required

Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this travel contract: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.

- Physical exam within 12 months
- Fit mask test within 1 year (annual renewal required)
- Immunizations and titers: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Competency exams and skills checklists as applicable
