Travel RN Opportunity - Frankfort, Kentucky
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Frankfort, Kentucky
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Experience & Licensure Requirements
- Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a hospital setting
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Active nursing license in good standing (KY or Compact license required at submission)
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Current NIH certification (must be renewed annually)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Unit & Work Environment
- Unit: ICU (Unit 650)
- Number of Beds: 10
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 or 3:1
- Staffing: Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNC), RNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs
- Equipment: Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, ventilators, glucometer
- Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
- Scheduling: Every other weekend, three 12-hour shifts
- Floating Policy: May float to PCU, 3rd floor, or Emergency Department (ED)
