Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Work Schedule

• 4x10 hour day shifts (7 AM - 5 PM)
• Call: Average 10 days in 6 weeks
• Weekends: Every third weekend (included in call shifts)
• Required to float between two hospital locations
• Orientation: 16 hours non-billable, starting Monday with online CBLs

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• RCIS certification required
• Charge experience required
• Must be able to float between facilities
• Traveler’s permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the hospital’s service area

Required Certifications & Licenses

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Work Environment & Additional Requirements

• Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings required
• Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
• Additional shifts may be available as overtime and are flexible based on hospital needs

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

• Background checks covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification
• Various health documents including:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Drug testing (9 panel within 14 days of start)
  • Immunizations and titers (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Respirator medical evaluation and fit testing completed onsite
• Photo for badge within 48 hours of contract signing
• Completion of facility-specific forms and adherence to dress code and safety policies
