Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 4 days a week
• Weekend rotation: 1 weekend on call and approximately 4-5 weekend days per month

Job Description

• Experience with cardiology procedures required
• Preferred experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Equipment used includes Cannon and Siemens

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or American Association of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification with cardiology experience
• American Heart Association BLS certification (must provide front and back images of card)
• ARRT certification (if applicable)
• Valid license verification dated within 30 days of start

• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
• Respirator evaluation with physician signature (for certain locations)

• Two professional references
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) dated within 30 days of start
• Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) report dated within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days (Michigan requires statewide check)
• Confidentiality and proprietary information agreement
• Conflict of interest disclosure form
• Code of conduct form
• Integrity and audit services form signed prior to start
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the past year
• Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
• Standard I-9 completed by agency
