Description
Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician
Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 4 days a week
- Weekend rotation: 1 weekend on call and approximately 4-5 weekend days per month
Job Description
- Experience with cardiology procedures required
- Preferred experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Equipment used includes Cannon and Siemens
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or American Association of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification with cardiology experience
- American Heart Association BLS certification (must provide front and back images of card)
- ARRT certification (if applicable)
- Valid license verification dated within 30 days of start

- Specialty: Cath Lab Technician with cardiology experience

- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
- Respirator evaluation with physician signature (for certain locations)

- Resume and skills checklist within the past year
- Two professional references
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) report dated within 30 days
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days (Michigan requires statewide check)
- Confidentiality and proprietary information agreement
- Conflict of interest disclosure form
- Code of conduct form
- Integrity and audit services form signed prior to start
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the past year
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
- Standard I-9 completed by agency
