Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Beckley, West Virginia

Required Qualifications

• Certification/licensure to work as an X-ray tech in West Virginia
• ARRT Certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in Radiology/X-ray specialty (highest required)
• Previous X-ray experience required, comfortable working with OR cases
• Professional demeanor and appearance (scrubs black; no casual wear)

Additional Information

• Provides care in a facility accredited by the Joint Commission
• Facility treats a high volume of patients annually, including emergency cases
• Offers a wide range of surgical services including robotic surgery and trauma/emergency services
• Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff

Summary

This travel Radiology Tech position requires at least 1 year of specialty experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and comfort with operating room cases. The role involves working 36 hours per week with weekend and call responsibilities on an as-needed basis. The facility serves a diverse patient population and is a Level III trauma center.
