Travel RN - CVOR

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Shift: Days (05:45 AM - 02:15 PM)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
  • Call Requirements: Every other day and every other weekend (call only)
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Patient Population: Adult
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Unit Beds: 2 designated CVOR rooms (part of a 24-bed OR)
  • EMR System: Cerner SurgiNet

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience (highest required years of experience)
  • Must have CVOR experience
  • RN license appropriate for Alabama

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to scrub and circulate in the CVOR is a bonus

Additional Information

  • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs and low-linting attire (no fleece, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoods, etc.)
  • Facility is accredited and recognized for excellence in cardiovascular services
  • Work environment includes a faith-based healthcare organization with a comprehensive range of medical services
