Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: One weekend per month, 1 day per week
Number of Openings: 1
Unit Beds: 4 labs
Patient Ratio: 1 team : 1 patient
Equipment: Merge Hemo
EMR Systems: Merge Hemo / Cerner (until June 2026, then Epic)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (5+ years preferred)
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
RCIS certification preferred
Must have skills/experience with:
- IABP
- Impella
- Laser
- Shockwave
- Phillips panning experience
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Additional Information

No float requirements
Dress code: Scrubs in Ceil Blue or Royal Blue; professional attire must comply with CMS and Orlando Health standards
Personality fit: Team player, flexible, willing to take initiative, accountable, timely
