Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
- Call Requirements: One weekend per month, 1 day per week
- Number of Openings: 1
- Unit Beds: 4 labs
- Patient Ratio: 1 team : 1 patient
- Equipment: Merge Hemo
- EMR Systems: Merge Hemo / Cerner (until June 2026, then Epic)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (5+ years preferred)
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- RCIS certification preferred
- Must have skills/experience with:
- IABP
- Impella
- Laser
- Shockwave
- Phillips panning experience
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Additional Information
- No float requirements
- Dress code: Scrubs in Ceil Blue or Royal Blue; professional attire must comply with CMS and Orlando Health standards
- Personality fit: Team player, flexible, willing to take initiative, accountable, timely
