Description
Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology
Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Job Description
- Provide overnight ultrasound services for Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient units.
- Coverage is staffed by one sonographer per shift.
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts, working 8 shifts on and 6 shifts off.
- Experience in both adult and pediatric imaging preferred.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS registration required.
- Registered in AB (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Sonography) preferred; RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer.
Additional Information
- This is an overnight position.
- Must have a new replacement identified prior to the end of the current contract for onboarding purposes.
