• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
• Shifts:

  • 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
  • Dayshift with rotating weekends
  • Weekend shifts are evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
  • Some shifts may be 12 hours (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM)
• Call Requirements: No call; department is staffed 24/7
• Scheduling: Rotating weekends; no self-scheduling mentioned
• Dress Code: Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided

Department & Equipment

• Department: Diagnostics (Tech)
• Number of rooms/scanners: 3 X-ray rooms, 6 C-arms, O-arm
• Equipment used: Del Medical, OEC, O-arm, Siemens (R&F)
• EMR/PACS systems: EPIC, Fuji Synapse PACS
• Radiologist in-house

Job Duties

• Perform diagnostic X-rays, fluoroscopy, and OR cases (e.g., cystoscopy)
• Use of C-arm and O-arm imaging equipment
• Rotate through all diagnostic areas for skill development, including Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, Operating Room, Endoscopy, Orthopedics
• No IV starts required

Required Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology Tech
• Must have Operating Room (OR) experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) verification required

Additional Notes

• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used in the department
• Average number of scans/studies per day varies due to walk-in X-rays and OR cases
