Job Opportunity: Telemetry RN
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
- Medical cardiology unit
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM every other week (EOW)
- Experience with post-cardiac procedures and cardiac drips preferred
Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU
- Valid RN license for Connecticut, with verification dated within 30 days of start
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: RN Telemetry I

- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred

Summary
This is a long-term Telemetry RN position on a medical cardiology unit requiring BLS and ACLS certifications, with preference for NIHSS certification and experience in post-cardiac care.
