Job Opportunity: Telemetry RN

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Description

  • Medical cardiology unit
  • Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM every other week (EOW)
  • Experience with post-cardiac procedures and cardiac drips preferred

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU
  • Valid RN license for Connecticut, with verification dated within 30 days of start

Required Qualifications

  • Specialty: RN Telemetry I
  • Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard Telemetry RN experience expected

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
