Travel/Contract Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Location: Camden, Arkansas
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend and holidays as needed

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Registered Nursing
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience NOT required)

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current RN license (Registered Nurse) valid in Arkansas
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Patient Ratios

• Approximately 1:5-6

Work Environment / System

• MedHost electronic health record system

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID required during hours of service
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Highest level of educational diploma required
• AR State Criminal Search required for all travelers
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months
• Flu vaccination required during flu season or mask required if declined
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of employment application/resume and skills checklist updated annually

Additional Notes

• This is a night shift position with every other weekend and holiday coverage
• Prior travel experience is NOT required for this assignment
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not mandatory
