Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Job Description

• Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures.
• Preferably experienced in one or more of the following modalities: General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab, Computed Tomography (CT).
• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
• Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging and at least one of the following: Angio/Cath Lab, CT, or MRI.

Shift Details

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4x10s).
• Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
• One variable shift during the week (11:30 AM - 9:00 PM or 4:30 PM - 2:00 AM).
• Rotating on-call duties and variable weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification (one of the following):

  • ARRT - Radiography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ARMRIT - Certified MRI Technologist
  • CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification (must be current within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Radiologic Technology.

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender, education verification, and other regulatory screenings.
• Annual updates required for EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and FACIS Level 3 screenings.
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law).
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (specific mask types required).
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (annual renewal required)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually.
• Color blindness exam (in-person) prior to start.

Additional Requirements

• Full 7 years of work history documented with no gaps over 30 days.

• Professional references required (2 for clinical/allied acute care).
• Completion of facility-specific documents and trainings prior to start, including:

  • Job description review/signature
  • Standards of business conduct

  • TB questionnaire within 90 days of start, renewed annually
