Job Opportunity: MRI Technician

Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st shift (typical start around 8:30 AM)
• On-call rotation: Monday to Friday until 11:00 PM, weekends 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, holidays as needed
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Preferred experience with GE scanners and EPIC system

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Wisconsin license for MRI Technicians at time of submission
• ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification required
• BLS certification (must be AHA)
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required (no mention of prior travel experience requirement)

• Immunizations and health requirements:

  • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Fit Test (3M 1860 Regular, Small, or 1870+), updated annually
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal; exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within 1 year, TB questionnaire updated annually
  • Two-step PPD or IGRA within 90 days of start
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Professional documentation:

  • Driver’s License/State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)
  • Resume/Profile submission
  • At least two professional references prior to first assignment
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days of assignment
  • EPLS check within 90 days of start
  • Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
  • Employment verification for past 7 years
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation
  • Ascension Badge Photo (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
• Testing and competency:

  • Ascension Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Ascension Specialty Exam completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years (minimum 80% passing score, max 2 attempts)
  • Ascension Color Vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
