Description
Job Opportunity: RN - CCU (Travel)
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the age and needs of the patient population on assigned units. The RN ensures quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards and organizational goals. The role requires professionalism, respect, and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification issued by the American Heart Association
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
- Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment
- Subject to stressful professional relationships and variable working hours, including flexibility for emergencies
- Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, heavy lifting and transferring of patients or equipment, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
- Requires good visual and hearing acuity, manual dexterity, and fine motor coordination

- Floating requirement to different locations within the facility
- This is a backfill replacement position
