Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech (Travel/Contract)

Position Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• On Call: No call required
• Charting System: Epic
• Work Setting: Outpatient
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications

• ARRT Mammography (ARRT(M))
• ARRT Radiography (ARRT(R))
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Virginia State License (preferred)

Required Clinical Skills & Procedures

• 3-D Mammography
• Diagnostic Mammograms
• Digital Mammography
• Needle Localization
• Screening Mammograms
• Stereotactic Biopsy
• Special Procedures: SAVI Scout, Biopsies
• Equipment Experience: Siemens (required), Sectra PACS system

Experience Requirements

• Years of Specialty Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with ARRT certification and Siemens equipment proficiency.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not accepted for first-time travelers (prior travel experience required).

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Facility allows calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

• Must provide valid Driver’s License/State ID with an address more than 100 miles from the facility.
• Background checks and verifications required, including 7-year background check, education verification, and various compliance documents.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, including communicable disease clearance.
• Fit testing and TB screening required and must be current.
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start.
• Immunizations or positive titers required for: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Two clinical references required.
• Complete application and skills checklist required.
