Job Description

• Float to High Risk Obstetrics (HROB) unit as needed (16 rooms, caring for early inductions, antepartum, continuous monitoring patients)
• May float within 5 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
• Level III high risk facility
• Block scheduling NOT allowed
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation required at time of submission; no late submissions accepted
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Scrubs provided by hospital
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery)
• Experience: Minimum 2.5 years in specialty
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Active New Jersey RN license at time of submission
  • ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
  • BLS (AHA or ARC only)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing contract (only 2 attempts allowed; must be taken on PC, not iOS devices)
• EOW (Every Other Week) / EOH (Every Other Holiday) scheduling

Prior Travel Experience

• Not required; first-time travelers accepted

Additional Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within one year of start, updated annually
• Government-issued photo ID
• Proof of I9 or attestation
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Various health documents including:

  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption (deadline October 31)
  • Drug screening (10 panel, excluding THC or with THC plus 10 other panels) within 6 months of start, updated annually
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation
  • Latex questionnaire
• Professional references (2, within last 2 years)
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually)
• Work history verification for at least 1 year prior to start date (NJ state requirement)

Notes

• Must complete Dysrhythmia competency test on a PC within 72 hours of contract signing; failure results in contract cancellation
• Floating may require working across multiple hospital locations within the system
• Local rate adjustment for candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital (not included here)
